1903-1910: Rev. J. Soe was called to service and received an annual salary of $450. ($12,191 adjusted for inflation)
In 1904, space became crowded as the congregation grew, they decided to build a bigger church on the same lot at a cost of $8,115. The ladies and young people’s societies purchased the bell for Our Savior’s. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace Luke 2:14” was inscribed in Danish on the bell.
In 1905, the Ladies and Young People’s Societies purchased the bell for the church. Around this time, the newly built church was dedicated, and the congregation had a growing total of 450 baptized members.
